Features includes paintings by Montague, a new extension of the artist’s practice. The imagery of the Features works has evolved out of Montague’s graphic design practice– an elemental and bold visual language that nods to modernism.
Amanda Besl

For her second solo exhibition at BT&C Gallery, Amanda Besl presents new paintings and drawings— a series of meticulously executed, psychological still lifes. The opening reception, which is free and open to the public, will take place on Friday, October 23rd from 6-9pm. The exhibition will remain on view through November 27th.

Some things showcases Roberley Bell’s latest body of work continuing her decades long investigation of the idea of the “natural” in our contemporary environment through sculptural organic abstraction.

BT&C Gallery announces Millie Chen: stain opening Thursday, February 5th with a reception 6-9pm. For nearly a decade, Chen has been exploring the idea of invisible histories and the potential of aesthetics to convey conflict and trauma. Chen explains,
within my visual art practice, the act of looking is interrogated. At the core of my projects are social inquiry and the intent to interrupt habits of viewing.
